Sodium Lignosulphonate (SLS)

This is a high purity sodium–lignosulphonate powder product derived from wood. The widespread application of lignosulphonate in ready-mix concrete is attributed to its outstanding dispersing properties. The agglomerates of cement particle are dispersed with small amounts of lignosulphonate. The homogenising and dispersion of cement solids results in lower water consumption during mixture of concrete. Concrete of lower water to cement ratio yields significantly greater strength after hardening. Lignosulphonate improves flow property of concrete significantly and therefore rated as a plasticizer admixture in this application.
